Coffs Coast 4x4 And Bush Adventures founder Tommo, is an avid adventurer and he is obsessed with chasing and exploring new places.
Tommo grew up on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
From a young age he was already behind the wheel of a 4 wheel drive, getting in precarious situations.
He was always pulling logs out of the bush on his family farm at Wauchope.
Being hugely influenced by his Grandpa and Uncle’s stories of bush survival.
Another major influence on his upbringing was his Dad's environmental science background and doing a lot of travelling with him at a young age
Tommo has so much to share in the way of off-road knowledge and experience coming from many years in the Aussie bush.
COFFS COAST 4×4 AND BUSH ADVENTURES
He started Coffs Coast 4×4 and Bush Adventures to meet, share and educate people on the Australian bush and its rugged beauty.
Whether it’s camping, hard tracks, easy drives, hidden history and points of interest, Tommo just loves discovering hidden secrets of the bush.
Coffs Coast 4×4 and Bush Adventures were started some five or six years ago.
This has allowed Tommo the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the 4 wheel drive industry such as Kev smith, Pat Callinan and Roothy.
He admits this couldn’t have been achieved without a great bunch of people backing him and his loving partner Laura by his side.
With such passions to explore the outdoors how could we not have such a legend on our team as Tommo!

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF 4×4 ADVENTURING?
Not really, which would not surprise many people that know me.
I pretty much spend every spare second I have either off on another adventure or dreaming about the next one.
I also spend a lot of my time dreaming up my next exploration working on the 4 wheel drives in our front yard.
You know Australia’s a big place, and I will never stop thinking about where I can go next!
WHO IS YOUR IDOL, HERO? WHO INSPIRES YOU THE MOST?
My hero or idol? I have too many to list to be honest.
However, I have two hero’s very close to my heart.
Firstly I would say my Grandpa, he taught me so much about life in the bush.
Mostly, how to work hard, adapt and overcome things, even when the odds are against you.
He was the smartest man I have ever met and his knowledge of the Australia bush is second to none.
Another idol of mine which inspires me every day is my good mate Kev Smith from Woolgoolga Offroad.
I watched him for many years on 4WD Action before we became close mates.
We have a lot of fun exploring the Australian bush together gathering information and experiences to share with you all.
IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN AUSTRALIA WHERE WOULD YOU GO? AND WHY?
If I could go anywhere in Australia I would definitely go to the Victorian High Country / Snowy Mountains.
These places are high up on my list of places to go one day.
However, I couldn’t name one place, because in reality I want to see it all!
To be honest I’ll go anywhere I can point to the Nissan!
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU EACH AND EVERY DAY?
Honestly if the sun comes up I’m happy and motivated.
Knowing that no one has ever seen it all and done it all and there’s so much out there to find and share.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH IN YOUR LIFETIME? GOALS?
I would like to successfully turn my passion into my career.

Film more.

I want to bring quality off road content that makes you want to just hit the tracks.
WHAT DO YOU USE YOUR NORTH STORM GEAR FOR?
I use my North Storm gear to protect my camera gear and clothing while I travel to some of the most remote parts of the country.
By car or on foot I need a reliable bag to see me through on any adventure.
My North Storm backpack certainly does the job.
