NORTH STORM® AMBASSADORS LARA HINDMARSH AND DYLAN BOAG OF WOEBEGONE FREEDIVE
Ocean conservationists, professional free dive instructors and avid ocean explorers.
Both with a deep reverence for all things in nature.
Lara and Dylan of Woebegone Freedive are locals of the South Coast in NSW.
They have first-hand experience exploring the pristine coastline and natural surroundings.
Most importantly they organise and facilitate beach clean-up days.
Clean-up days are held in the Jervis Bay area and always bring good vibes to the local community.
Sharing the same passions, Lara and Dylan have braved the elements and intense pressures of the ocean.
Two peas in a pod, they both enjoy extending their knowledge of the sea to all.
Teaching people how to free-dive, snorkel and explore seal colonies.
In addition they swim with wobbegong and grey nurse sharks
Along with dolphins, migrating whales, local marine life, investigate sea caves, beaches and more!
Together they are the awesome duo at Woebegone Freedive!

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER INTERESTS OUTSIDE OF FREE-DIVING?
Lara: Outside of free-diving I enjoy cooking, sewing and beach combing.
Dylan: Apart from free-diving I mostly enjoy surfing, permaculture and ashtanga yoga.
WHO IS YOUR IDOL, HERO? WHO INSPIRES YOU THE MOST?
Lara: My idol is Madison Stewart aka Shark Girl for helping to end the shark fishing trade by giving fishermen an alternative income and future!
Dylan: Arnie (Arnold Schwarzenegger) inspires me the most because of his drive and determination.
IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN AUSTRALIA WHERE WOULD YOU GO? AND WHY?
Lara: If I could travel anywhere in Australia my first choice would be Western Australia! For the amazing blue water, red dirt and incredible marine life.
Dylan: If I could travel anywhere in Australia I would go check out the desert because I’ve never been there. In addition, for the landscape, solitude and contrast to where we live.
WHAT MOTIVATES YOU EACH AND EVERY DAY?
Lara: What motivates me is the beauty and simplicity of nature, every day is different. Life’s bloody exciting!
Dylan: What motivates me is serving the planet and all its creatures.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH IN YOUR LIFETIME? GOALS?
Lara: In my lifetime I want to be self-sufficient and continue to learn new skills. In addition, continue exploring the bay and learn everything about it.
Dylan: My future goal is I want to grow 75% of my own food. Also be self-sufficient and find my higher self.
WHAT DO YOU USE YOUR NORTH STORM® GEAR FOR?
Lara: I use my North Storm gear for photography and riding my pushbike to work. I also use it when walking our dog Red.
Dylan: I use my North Storm gear for diving, surfing and exploring new places.
